Departure to Listvyanka (65 km from Irkutsk, travel will take 1 hour).

Listvyanka is Siberian village located on southern coast of Baikal Lake, at the source of Angara – the only river flowing from this unique lake.

Listvyanka is justly considered as the center of tourism on Baikal. There is harmonious combination of endless mirror-like surface of the great lake, pictorial hills covered by softwood forest, rural houses and modern hotels.

Circum-Baikal Railway has 38 tunnels having total length 9063 meters, 248 bridges and viaducts. With reference to saturation of engineering structures, Circum-Baikal Railway has no peers in Russia and takes one of the leading places in the world.

Departure to Sandy bay (travel will take about 5 hours). 

Sandy Bay is one of the most famous and pictorial locations of Baikal named “Siberian Riviera”. Sandy Bay is located on the territory Pribaikalsky National Park and has status of state landscape natural landmark.

Here you can see famous “stilted trees”; water and wind are constantly washing and blowing away soil from under them.

Clear sandy beach having semicircle shape, 750 m length and 15-20 m width, is framed by pyramid-shaped rocks. There is benign microclimate and large number of sunny days per year in Sandy Bay.

Departure to Olkhon island (travel will take about 8-9 hours).

The biggest island of Baikal located in the central part of the lake. Unique nature of the lake has various landscapes and marvelous sceneries: spacious hilly steppes, pine woods and pictorial rocks.

There are plenty of archeological landmarks and ancient legends connected with Olkhon Island.

Arrival to Maloe More – a flow dividing Olchon Island and continental part. Trip in cozy bays of Maloe More with warm water and sandy beaches.

Cruising to Ogoi Island.

Departure to the islands of Maloe More by motor ship. You will rise to sacred Buddhist Serenity Stupa devoted to Buddhist goddess overpowering all negative manifestations in the world. You will have possibility to walk around the Stupa: according to Buddhism, walking around sacred places with kind thoughts and intentions promises your wishes come true.

Cruising to Shamanka rock.

Shamanka Rock is a landmark of Baikal Lake and Olchon Island. It is natural and historical landmark as well as sacral place for locals. This rock is one of nine great sacred objects of Asia.

Arrival to Khoboy Cape – the most northern point of Olchon Island; there is panoramic view to Baikal opening from there.

Trip in Chivyrkuy Gulf by motor ship (travel will take about 6 hours).

One of the most interesting and attractive in Baikal region. It is pictorial and far bulging coast of Baikal (25 km) Eastern and western shores of the gulf are surrounded by high rocks and form a lot of small bays well protected from winds. Beach are sandy, and in summer water is warming-up well.

Visiting Snail Bay and bathing in hot springs

Water temperature in hot springs varies from 40°С to 60°C. Water in the springs is hydrogen sulfide, fluorine and soda rich. Hot springs were used by the locals for curing disorders of locomotive system.
