Arshan is a resort in the Republic of Buryatia, situated in picturesque Tunkinsky valley n the banks of the Kyngyrga River in the roots of the Sayan Mountains, 893 above sea level. Arshan comes from the Buryat word for “healing spring”. The resort is known for its mineral waters, waterfalls and mountain air.
Walk to mineral waters and waterfalls
Mineral waters of Arshan springs are known by healing property and its composition is similar to Caucasian mineral waters.
It’s half-an-hour walk from Arshan along a forest path in marble canyon of the Kyngara River, you will be treated to sweeping views of a cascade of waterfalls. The height of waterfalls and noise of falling mountain river is spellbound.
